Clever and energetic, Donald Duck is always up to something – and so is this braiser. In the morning, you might spot it in the oven, baking a delicious fruit crumble or egg shakshuka for breakfast. At dinner time, you’ll find it on the stovetop, browning protein, sweating aromatics, and simmering grains and vegetables for quick and delicious one-pot meals. And during the weekend, if you wake up early, you can find it already at work, gently simmering a rich sauce for Sunday lunch or roasting a special dinner for the whole family. Crafted of solid copper for superior heat conductivity, it’s hammered for increased strength and lasting beauty, and tin-lined by hand over fire so it’s naturally low-stick. The riveted handles are cast of solid bronze, and the lid is crowned by a solid bronze Donald Duck limited edition knob, designed to celebrate Disney 100 Years of Wonder. It’s a collectors’ piece that will transition seamlessly between stove, oven and table – and can be proudly displayed to adorn the kitchen when not in use.

Oven safe to 430°F (including lid). Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction compatible). Use low to moderate heat on cooktop. To avoid salt staining or pitting, add salt to cookware only after food has reached boiling point. Do not place empty cookware on hot cooktop or in preheated oven; doing so will damage tin lining. Use wood or plastic utensils to avoid damaging tin lining. High temperatures, salt, acidic food, citrus and wine will cause tin lining to darken. This will not affect flavor of food or performance of cookware. Caution: Lid knob and handles will get hot during use. Always wear potholders or use oven mitts. Do not store food in cookware. Hand-wash with soft sponge or cloth and mild detergent. To remove stuck-on debris, fill cookware with water and place over low heat. Allow debris to soften until it is easy to remove. Avoid using abrasive cleaners such as steel wool and scouring powder, and abrasive nylon sponges.
